- This will resemble a mini-themed issue nestled within a non-thematic issue. It will focus on current concerns, debates, polemics, matters of pressing interest to the UAAC community. It will contain three or four short papers of about 2,500 words each, all speaking to the same issue from different perspectives (theoretical, historical, geographical, and so on). The section can also include an introduction, a statement, or an analysis (maximum 2,000 words)
- In this section, we encourage opinions and a polemical tone. The pieces included will not go through the peer-review process, but intellectual rigour is nevertheless expected.
- Please note the production schedule is very tight to allow us to respond quickly to emerging issues and debates. The deadline for proposals is December 1st for publication in the following spring issue. Please note that proposals are accepted throughout the year.
