To submit a proposal for a Practices section

  • A curated portfolio section, included in the spring issue, focusing on current practices in art, design, or curatorship. It contains six to eight images (or six to eight pages containing multiple images) examining a specific theme. It can be accompanied by an introduction, a statement, an analysis, or an interview (maximum 2,000 words).
  • Please note the production schedule is very tight to allow us to respond quickly to emerging issues and debates. The deadline for proposals is December 1st for publication in the following spring issue. Please note that proposals are accepted throughout the year.
  • Proposals will be submitted to peer review.
  • Please submit your proposal to the managing editor at information.racar@gmail.com.
